A few things

I got an indoor plant/fish grower thing (because why not) I already have an outdoor garden, so I figure an indoor garden would be ok too. Also note that I'm sporting my new set of eyes!

Getting ready for our trip in two weeks!

Getting ready for my July trip!

Last but not least, yay for office fun times...

To my future self: yeah I used to wear glasses

That was a thing of the past....

New eyes are in place!

MS150

Well after all that training of over 550 miles, and countless early morning Saturday rides the first day of the big event was cancelled.  It had been raining so much over the week that all the grounds in LaGrange were flooded and it was just impossible for us to sleep there overnight.

My cousin was so kind and awesome to get up at 5am and drove my friends and I to LaGrange, then she continued on to Austin and waited for me over there.  We started our ride at around 8:30am and didn't finish up until 3:30pm. We took long rest stop breaks, we had a wonderful time, we laughed and we "almost" cried! haha.  This biking season goes in the books, all the training rides made it so so much fun.

A few pictures from Saturday training rides

Training for the MS150 this year has been a little more intense, here are a few pictures.

Worth bragging I mean blogging about it

So the lawn mower had been dead for a while. Since last October to be exact.  Since Spring is here, and the lawn grows exponentially compared to winter, something needed to be done and fast.  I asked the yard guy to come look at it and he said he would give me a friend's phone number so I could take it to his place.  Well I never got the phone number, so took the matter to the intelligent Google/Youtube.  Found something that could help and tried it out.

It involved taking the mower apart, starting by the case, followed by the filter, then the two springs while clamping the gas (which I don't own a clamp, so basically while filling container after container to drain the gasoline, taking the carburetor off. FUN!

The youtube video is 10 min long, well for me it was ...... three hours later, and the mower was working! YAY!!! it was a happy day.

I took a trip to lowes in between the process because I didn't have all the right tools! Also you can see the gasoline filled containers in this picture.

Carburetor is out and crazy cleaned with WD-40

SUCCESS, the yard looks so nice now! (Not my face though, I've got bad allergies, and my eyes are so itchy now)

Also, I bought a leaf blower, because there are TOO many leaves this time of the year.
