MS 150 Finished!

Thank you everyone who helped me finish the 163 miles! it was incredible.  The weather couldn't have been better, I did my first century on April 20th.  I am so happy to have been able to ride along with other 13,000 riders for an awesome cause.

Also, I am happy I didn't get any injuries and I made it through without any accidents.  Just a few pictures of the race.

I MADE IT TO AUSTIN ALL THE WAY FROM HOUSTON!

The plants!

Looks like the plants are growing fast! I had to transfer the tomato to a bigger pot, cause it's getting big.  The cilantro started to smell like cilantro, I wanted to eat it but Greg told me not to yet :(

My skis arrived!

Someone won't be renting skis next year!!

On another note, I received the new HGTV and traveler magazine.

DIY -- bathroom

It was about time,

The bathroom was getting nasty because the caulk was getting moldy. I had been telling myself the caulk needed to be replaced, but I was nervous I was going to mess it all up.

Ok, so I finally re-caulked the tub and it looks fabulous!!! Check it out!

Around our place!

Just wanted to show how we like to roll in this house.  Keeping it interesting, I think it really describes our lives.

First: I have started planting random things including cilantro!

This vase contains my wedding bouquet roses

With an engineer and a med student/engineer at home, what else do you expect? this sits in our living room.

Greg and I share this as our favorite piece of candy. PEEPS!!!

Home owner = money drain

Ok, so Greg and I are ready to move!

This place has ha too many problems lately! And this is draining our travel budget! Since I moved in we have fixed:

- The wall in the dining room, water leaked from the AC inside through the walls and built up! Over $600

- The front door handle broke, still needs to be fixed! Estimate of $100 (it's a specific handle)

- The light in the living room stopped working, this is attached to a fan so it's more complicated than just replacing the bulbs, we fixed this This week! $40

- Last night, we had a bad storm and water started coming in from above the window! It was bad, fortunately we have like a million towels and got it under control a bit. We are in the process of fixing this as I blog.

Note that I didn't include fixes Greg did before I moved in!
