YEEHAWW

Well this past Tuesday, we got tickets to go to the rodeo! After contacting someone who was selling them on Craigslist and meeting up with him we got the tickets :) ! Greg and I ate at the carnival, some delicious humongous burger and hotdog. Gary Allan was singing that night.

Greg and I got our boots on and off to the rodeo we went.

"So I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes..."

Murder Mystery party

This past Saturday Greg and I attended the murder mystery party organized by our church class.  We are part of a newly-wed or close at First Baptist.    Greg was a bellboy and I was a Japanese lady who sold kimonos.  I made both outfits.  I bought some silky pj's at ross, bought large since that's all they had and put both legs through one leg.  I had bought a shawl in India back in October and used it with the costume.  Greg's hat is made out of cardboard and I put paper buttons along with paper sleeve-ends.  It was AWESOME!  no one guessed who the murderer was, but it was still a blast.  Greg and I won 1st and 3rd place on costumes.  Epic night with the newly-wed couples!

5K

Two saturdays ago, I skipped my MS150 training, so I could run a 5K with this handsome man... It was a cold beautiful morning.

MS 150

Hello everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful day.   I just wanted to ad in here about my ride in april.  I am riding 180 miles in two days to help a great cause, I'm riding for people with MS (multiple sclerosis).  You can help donate to this cause, which goes all to research and MS centers.
Thanks!

Skiing in the Canyons, Park City, Utah

We had been planning this skiing trip since last November. The trip came at an unfortunate time, mama Carmen passed away on Tuesday, January 29th. It was indeed a sad week, but after all God gave her a long healthy life. Left for Utah, on wednesday 30th, and arrived at night. We looked for skii shops where we could buy some used skies, but we couldn't find any. Sadly I had to rent mine for a high price of $182, ouch. Four days of skiing is a lot, it was a lot of fun, but also a lot of painful nights. We stayed at westgate a really nice place where we went to hottubs every night and enjoyed the streets of Park city. Here are some of the pictures I took on the trip. Also, I need to mention that I'm very proud of myself since I was able to do all the blue runs and most of the double blues! yay!
